Terre di Cenere

We met in Catania in 2009, she was studying volcanology, he was trying to sell her a car. Neither worked out. Two years later we bought four hectares of old bush vines on the north slope of Etna instead.

Everything here is farmed by hand, fermented with wild yeasts, and bottled with as little sulphur as we dare. Some years the volcano decides the vintage. We just listen.
